Summer Graduate Conservation Internship 2015 The Frick Collection The Frick Collection is pleased to offer a paid conservation graduate internship for the summer of 2015. Eligibility: The internship is open to students currently enrolled full-time in a recognized conservation degree program. Those graduate students interested in objects or furniture conservation with a focus in European Decorative Arts should apply. To learn more about the Frick's Conservation Department, please visit <URL:http://www.frick.org/collection/conservation> and <URL:http://www.frick.org/collection/curators> The intern will participate in the department's conservation and preservation needs, including environmental monitoring and Oddy testing. Conservation treatment projects can be tailored to fit the interests of the intern where possible. The person must be fluent in English. The 8-12 week internship would take place between the months of May - August, 2015 (start and end dates are flexible) with a stipend of $3000. Intern activities are generally carried out four days a week between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm; however, an alternative schedule may be discussed.
