Monuments Conservation Technician Internship
Central Park Conservancy

Central Park Conservancy (CPC), with grants from The Charles Evans
Hughes Memorial Foundation, Inc. and the Felicia Fund, is offering
paid, full-time summer internship positions in outdoor sculpture
conservation.  CPC is a private, not-for-profit organization
dedicated to the maintenance and preservation of Central Park.  For

Conservation technicians interns will be involved in the
examination, documentation, preservation and conservation of the
bronze and stone sculpture in Central Park in New York City.

Eligibility Requirements:

    Applicants must be active graduate students or recent
    masters-level graduates in historic preservation, objects
    conservation or equivalent

    Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the US for the
    duration of this placement

    Applicants must possess a current United States issued driver's
    license or equivalent.  They must be physically able to lift 50
    lbs and to wear a respirator for up to 3 hours per day

The summer conservation program will begin on Monday, June 1, 2015
and concludes on Friday, August 7, 2015.  Pay is $14 dollars per
