Jeff Koons sculpture

Has any of you evaluated or treated one of the more recent Jeff
Koons sculptures in his 'Coloring Book' series? They are made of
high-chromium stainless steel with transparent color coatings
(giving a tinted reflective surface). I am evaluating the materials
for a purchase (to be sited in an exterior urban environment). I
know the potential issues about deterioration and maintenance, but I
was hoping that someone has gotten further in discovering the exact
materials and methods being used. If so, would you be willing to
discuss on this List--or off-line if you prefer, since these are
considered artist-proprietary materials?
