Polysulfide resin offgassing

We have some polysulfide rubber (from Smooth-On) mold of an object
with possible residue from a cast using Polypoxy Resin 1010 with
Poly Cure 1220 cast from Polytek which looks like it did not cure
properly. The mold has yellow residue that looks like its breakdown
into a liquid stick form. Something is off-gassing and we are
trying to figure out what might be causing it. We have found that
polysulfide begins to smell like sulfur when it begins to break
down. The smell we are observing gives of a menthol smell. We are
wonder if anyone as encounter this or have any suggestion on what
might be going on. We are keeping it sealed in a plastic container
for the time being.
