Gallery talk British Museum Saturday November 22, 2014 11am The ICON Ethnography Group is hosting a free gallery talk at the British Museum on Saturday November 22, 2014 at 11am. The talk will be given by Verena Kotonski (Organic Artefact Conservation, Conservation and Scientific Research) and will discuss the conservation of organic objects in the new exhibition "Pilgrims, healers and wizards: Buddhism and religious practices in Burma and Thailand." After the talk, the participants will be given a guided tour of the new Organic Conservation lab in the World Conservation and Exhibition Centre at the British Museum. As there is limited space, the number of participants for the talk and the tour is limited to 15.
