Washington, DC 20002
Thursday November 6, 2014

Linda Edquist, Conservator and Head of the Preservation Office at
the National Postal Museum will present a talk about how she
prepared some of the most sensitive objects the museum has ever
exhibited: letters and covers that were the vehicles for the 2001
anthrax attacks. These objects are part of the new 2014 exhibition,
"Behind the Badge: The U.S. Postal Inspection Service". The
galleries are using SmartGlass technology for the first time to
display these objects. Dr. Seth Van Vorhees of VariGuard will
discuss the technology of SmartGlass and its applications.

VariGuard is generously sponsoring the reception. Visit their
