staff in museums, galleries and other arts related entities.  We are
currently looking for a part-time Conservation Framer to work for a
highly prestigious conservation company based in London.  The
company has a large number of very special clients including world
class museums, auction houses, galleries and private collectors.

The part-time aspect of the job is flexible, you will be given a set
amount of days per week, however, the days you work can be adjusted
to your personal needs.  There may also be a chance that it could
become a full-time role in the future should this area of the
business take off.

Duties include:

    To carry out conservation standard framing

    Mount cutting

    Producing reports and estimates for work in the Department

    To be responsible for materials and equipment in your area

    Consulting on materials and techniques used in the Department

    To carry out all work efficiently and effectively and to good
    conservation standards

    To achieve targets agreed with the company directors

    To, when necessary, work away from the workshop on specific
    projects

Essential requirements include:

    2+ years practical experience in conservation framing

    2+ years experience liaising with high profile clients

    You must be experienced in mounting and framing contemporary and
    classical art work to a conservation standard

    You must be able to build good working relationships with others

    You must be fluent in written and spoken English

    You must be willing to work on a part-time, on-going permanent
    basis

Salary: UKP22k - UKP24k pro rata
(equivalent of UKP12 to UKP13 per hour)
