MSc in Architectural Design for the Conservation of Built Heritage Postgraduate course University of Strathclyde, Glasgow This new design-oriented course in architectural conservation provides a robust theoretical and practical education in architectural conservation and the complexities of the built heritage, in a local and international context. It provides a methodological, critical and interdisciplinary approach to architectural conservation, integrating the theoretical, technical and creative aspects of the architectural conservation project. The course is fully recognised by the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC), and conforms to the ICOMOS Guidelines for Education and Training in the Conservation of Monuments, Ensembles and Sites. These criteria are used by professional institutes for the assessment of evidence and professional accreditation in conservation.
