Conservation Technician
The Smithsonian Institution Libraries (SIL)

The Smithsonian Institution Libraries (SIL) announces the posting of
a permanent, federal, conservation technician position at the GS-06
level ($38,363.00 to $49,867.00).  As the position is U.S.
government-funded, only U.S. citizens may apply.

The conservation technician will join a conservation staff of two
book conservators and two conservation technicians.  As part of the
Preservation Services Department, the technician will provide
assistance in the conservation treatment of general collections and
preparation of items for commercial binding for SIL's 22 libraries
located in the Washington DC metro area, New York, and Panama.
