Subject: Etruscan Foundation Conservation Fellowship
The Etruscan Foundation Conservation Fellowship The Etruscan Foundation Conservation Fellowship is designed to support conservation in all areas of Etruscan and pre-Roman Italy. The fellowship is open to U.S., Canadian and European citizens who are conservators, students enrolled in North American conservation degree programs, or students seeking pre-program conservation experience in preparation for entrance into an accredited conservation program. First year conservation graduate students and students seeking pre-program conservation experience must be under the supervision of an experienced conservator at the program site. The Conservation Fellowship may be used for archaeological conservation treatment, analysis, museum study, or research on Etruscan or pre-Roman artifacts contained in collections within the United States or Italy. The Etruscan Foundation Conservation Fellowship carries an award of $2,000. This fellowship is intended to support travel to and from Italy, travel within Italy, meals and lodging during conservation or research activity, and ancillary materials and equipment for the fellow Etruscan Foundation member. Recipients are expected to seek other sources of funding for all additional conservation expenses.
