Special events: Engage and network
Melbourne
12-23 September 2014

Come and join a range of cultural materials conservation events,
from tours to panel discussions, on 12-23 September 2014. The
world's best material conservators will be in Melbourne. Come and
hear what some of them have to say and share your views.

Jointly organised by the Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation,
Faculty of Arts, University of Melbourne and the Australian
Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM), these
events encourage participants to consider the tangible and
intangible aspects of cultural heritage. We aim for successful
knowledge sharing, and a demonstration of practical skills to form
sustainable cultural relationships within the Asia Pacific region
and the world, promoting best practice in skills development for the
protection of living cultures and heritage.

The organisers are seeking broad participation from anyone in the
culture and heritage industry, interested members from the local
community and visitors to Melbourne in September. Please join us
and celebrate.
