and exciting practical training opportunities for those who manage,
protect and preserve collections.

    One Day Workshop
    Assessing Risks to Your Collections

        9 - 5pm
        Monday 8 September 2014
        Light lunch and refreshments provided

        Cost: $125 (including GST)

        A non-technical workshop to demonstrate a method of
        assessing risks to collections based on the award winning
        Cultural Property Risk Analysis Model (CPRAM).  This one-day
        format is ideal for senior managers, curators,
        administrators, audit and risk managers, and all others with
        a strong but indirect interest in collection management,
        protection and preservation.

        Learn to:

            Identify the risks to which collections are exposed,
            which agents of deterioration are responsible and how
            risks differ

            Assess the relative importance of risks

            Recognise how this model can be used as a basis for
            preservation resource allocation

    Assessing and Managing Risks to Your Collections

        Wednesday-Friday 10-12 September 2014
        9am - 5pm

        Cost: $375 (including GST)
        Light lunch and refreshments provided.

        A non-technical workshop to provide a sound understanding of
        assessing and managing risks to collections based on the
        award winning Cultural Property Risk Analysis Model (CPRAM).
        This three-day format provides time for hands-on practice
        and is ideal for collection managers, facility managers,
        conservators, collection managers and registrars, and others
        with a strong, direct role in collection management,
        protection and preservation.

        Learn to:

            Identify the risks to which collections are exposed,
            which agents of deterioration are responsible and how
            risks differ

            Assess the relative importance of risks

            Identify means of controlling risks, develop risk
            mitigation strategies, and evaluate the costs, risks and
            benefits of the strategies

            Develop and present a rational and defensible risk-based
            preservation plan
