Assistant Textile Conservator National Maritime Museum Greenwich Closing date: 18 July 2014 The National Maritime Museum is seeking a trained and enthusiastic Textile Conservator to join a small team of conservators within the Object Conservation Section. This Section is part of the Conservation and Preservation Department. The primary responsibility for the post holder will be to undertake routine and straight forward conservation treatments on a variety of textile based objects which may include uniforms, flags, historic settings and accessories. Core hours of work will be 41 per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, with an additional hour to be worked as agreed upon with management.
