Mellon Fellowship in Photography or Paper Conservation The Museum of Modern Art New York, NY The Museum of Modern Art offers a renewable fellowship in either the conservation of photographic materials or works of art on paper beginning in September 2014, start date negotiable. The applicant should be a graduate of a recognized conservation training program. Both the Photography and Paper Conservation sections work closely with many curatorial departments: Photography, Drawings and Prints, Architecture and Design, Media and Performance Art, and Film. The candidate will work on a wide range of modern and contemporary works and participate in all departmental activities including courier responsibilities. An emphasis will be placed on assisting permanent Photography and/or Paper Conservation staff in the treatment of collection materials for exhibition and loan. The closing date for applications is August 1, 2014. Salary is $44,500.00 plus generous benefits, including four weeks paid vacation.
