The University of Stirling Archives has received funding from the
Wellcome Trust's Research Resources in Medical Humanities Fund for a
project

to conserve and catalogue the archives of the Royal Scottish
National Institution, Larbert, a pioneering children's hospital
which opened in 1862.

We are seeking a qualified Conservator to manage the repair and
conservation of the collection.  Candidates should have a
postgraduate qualification in conservation, or equivalent, and
professional experience of working with archive material.  The
Project Conservator will work with a Project Archivist who will
catalogue the collection using CALM for Archives.
