Project Conservator (Paper) "Continuity of care: the cataloguing and conservation of the Royal Scottish National Institution Archives" University of Stirling Archives Full time, fixed term (3 months) Grade 6: UKP24,289 - 29,836 p.a. pro rata <URL:http://www.stir.ac.uk/about/jobs/details/index.html?id=QUUFK026203F3VBQB7V79V7NE&nPostingID=629&nPostingTargetID=606&mask=extstirling&lg=UK> The University of Stirling Archives has received funding from the Wellcome Trust's Research Resources in Medical Humanities Fund for a project to conserve and catalogue the archives of the Royal Scottish National Institution, Larbert, a pioneering children's hospital which opened in 1862. We are seeking a qualified Conservator to manage the repair and conservation of the collection. Candidates should have a postgraduate qualification in conservation, or equivalent, and professional experience of working with archive material. The Project Conservator will work with a Project Archivist who will catalogue the collection using CALM for Archives. Please note the closing date for applications is Sunday 15 June 2014.
