    1350-1550"

A PhD Research Fellowship is available for a conservator to
contribute to the project 'Aft the Black Death: Painting and
Polychrome Sculpture in Norway, 1350-1550'.  The project is based in
the Conservation Studies section of the Department of Archaeology,
Conservation and History, University of Oslo.  The project and the
position are funded by The Research Council of Norway for a
three-year period (2014/5 and 2017/8).

The successful candidate will ideally be a Paintings Conservator,
who will develop a thesis around a limited number of late-medieval
liturgical objects owned by the Museum of Cultural History (KHM),
Oslo.  The research fellow will be co-supervised by Noelle Streeton
(Conservation Studies, University of Oslo) and Jan van Bonsdorff
(History of Art, University of Uppsala).
