Fixed-term contract for 2 years

Pro-rata UKP30,000 per annum
24 Hours (3 days) per week

Reporting to the Senior Conservation Manager, the Paintings
Conservator is responsible, as part of a team, for the conservation
and preservation of paintings from the National Portrait Gallery
Collection.  To provide conservation expertise in support of the
Gallery's display, exhibition, regional partnerships and loans
programmes.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a recognised
post-graduate qualification in the conservation of easel paintings
or equivalent training/experience, along with a minimum of 4 years
practical experience, strong organisational and planning skills and
the ability to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal
skills.
