Audley End House, near Saffron Walden

This autumn sees the start of a large scale building maintenance
project at Audley End House.  Working as part of the Collections
Conservation team, you will work to plan, manage and undertake the
care and conservation of the collections and interiors at Audley End
House during the project.

You will manage the movement of the collections to temporary storage
and work closely with contractors to ensure that the decorative
interiors of the building are fully protected during the project.
Following the completion of the building works you will organise the
reinstallation of collections and work with the project team to
ensure that all display rooms are ready for the re-opening of the
house in April 2015.

You will have a recognised qualification in conservation.  Excellent
communication skills and the ability to think on your feet are
essential.

This post is fixed term from August 2014 until the end of May 2015.
