Workshop on XRF

Free analytical workshop
Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales,

Bruker UK Ltd are hosting a free, one day workshop on 22 June 2014
at Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales, located in Cardiff's
historic civic centre. The workshop will provide theory, demos and
advice on different analytical techniques.  This is being run
alongside the Society for the Preservation of Natural History
Collections 29th ABM, (22-27 June 2014

Expert advice given on analytical techniques including X-Ray
fluorescence, (XRF):  X-Ray diffraction (XRD); and FTIR / Raman The
workshop will offer an introduction into the basic concepts of
techniques, museum applications, practical demonstration and an
opportunity to sample and analyse your own material.

The workshop will start at 10.00 and finish at 16.00 and lunch and
refreshments will be provided and there is no charge for attending
this event.
