KSH&Co Ltd has a world wide clientele and is one of the UK's leading
independent practices specialising in paintings conservation and
restoration.  We comprise 4 full time experienced conservators and
operate from one of the largest and best equipped private studios in
the world. Working on important old master and contemporary
paintings from the 14th century to the present day, at any one time
the practise is extremely busy with a broad variety of complex
practical treatments and cutting edge in-depth study and research.

KSH&Co Ltd is looking to recruit a suitable person to manage the day
to day running of a very busy office.  This position presents an
unrivalled opportunity to gain experience of art conservation and
the heritage industry at the highest level, and the position will
see you becoming a key member of the team, providing critical
support to every aspect of the company's activities (excepting the
actual treatment of artworks).

The successful candidate will therefore have:

    Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, Photoshop and SAGE

    Exceptional time management skills and reliability (this is

    Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and a
    high level of confidence (this is also essential)

    An interest in fine art, paintings and the heritage sector

    Some relevant experience and qualifications (desirable but not

    Previous managerial /administration experience

    The ability to manage the administration process and ensure the
    day-to-day operations of the business run smoothly

    The ability to provide support for director

    Highly developed planning and organisational skills.

    The ability to work overtime if required

    A European foreign language skill (desirable but not essential)

    Some basic experience of accounts and bookkeeping

    Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised

    Dynamism and the ability to work under pressure; a steady head

    Multi-tasking abilities, accuracy, and pride in high standards
    of work

    A 'can do' /positive outlook with excellent attention to detail
    and a friendly attitude.

    Commitment, loyalty, and a responsible and enthusiastic approach
    at all times.

    A sense of humour!

KSH&Co Ltd is a small family-type business run with a very
professional but friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and we are looking
for just the right person to fit in.  The position is being offered
initially on a full time basis under a 12 month contract but with
the strong possibility for permanent renewal if things go well.

long term future in the company, and someone who will develop and
grow along with it.
