Workshop
"Saving Energy in HVAC for Conservation Environments"
Los Angeles
June 2, 2014

Please accept this invitation to participate in our Saving HVAC
Energy workshops at the first Monday in June, 2014 right after AIC.

The main workshop topics are:

  1. How and why HVAC systems use energy, and sustainability
        concerns;

  2.    Savings to expect from alternate "relaxed" T/RH criteria;

  3. Other ways to reduce energy use Without compromising
        conservation environment criteria;

  4.    Compare savings from (2) and (3)

  5. Overall approach to saving energy in an existing building

  6. Easy measures to reduce energy use at little to no capital
        cost

  7. Typical energy saving measures that should Not be used in a
        conservation environment

  8. Understanding LEED

This is the same workshop I have given in the past 12 months at
Rutgers for PPG, Michigan State, the MFA Boston, the Smithsonian
SAAM for WCG, and Yale. It is based on the AIC workshop I gave in
2010 at AIC in Philadelphia, but much expanded with many energy
estimates. The workshop will include a comparison of the energy
savings and sustainability benefits from relaxed T/RH criteria for
San Francisco, LA, DC, NYC and Boston.

The Los Angeles workshop will be hosted by the Western Council of
Construction Consumers in Downtown LA at CALTRANS District 7, 100 S
Main Street, Los Angeles CA 90012. The workshop runs from 8am to
3:45pm, with an admission fee of less than $30.

For further details and registration information see

The LA space is large, so there should be many seats available.

Please use the link if you have questions about registration, and
contact me if you have any questions about the content.

Hope to see you in there.
