Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites has issued a Request for Proposals from conservators interested in implementing a plan of treatment for a large wooden object in an outdoor setting, the Constitution Elm, in Corydon, Indiana. Interested parties may request a complete RFP package to be sent via e-mail. Project timetable is as follows: Wednesday 7 May 2014 1pm EDT Pre-Proposal Conference at the Constitution Elm Monument Friday 23 May 2014 Proposals due in Historic Sites Restoration office no later than 5pm EDT Tuesday 27 Thursday 29 May 2014 Proposals reviewed and evaluated Friday 30 May 2014: Conservator selected; contract awarded.
