Academic program on development of new conservation materials

A former student of mine has asked me if I knew a Master program
devoted to the development of new conservation materials. I
immediately thought of Dr. Baglioni's group at Universita degli
Studi di Firenze however I'm not quite sure if they accept students
who possess only a Bachelor degree in Art Restoration (I believe a
scientific background is required).

Do you know of any available option on this type of academic
programs, in Europe, the United States or else?
