The Association of Book Crafts NZ is hosting an International
conference in Auckland, 24-26 October 2014 (Monday October 27, 2014
is a public holiday).  It will be held at the Auckland University of
Technology in central Auckland.

The conference will provide a platform for discussion and
interchange on all aspects of book production, the bindings and
contents of both traditional and innovative structures including
design; conservation/history; illustration; book arts; book
collecting; education; exhibition of books etc.

Julie Chen from California and Dominic Riley from UK are confirmed
as keynote speakers and a further fifteen presentations are so far
programmed.  Plans for pre- and post-conference workshops are well
advanced.  Some information is already available at the web site
with more to be added in due course.
