Call for papers "Mending the Threads: Conservation's Contribution to Cultural Revival" New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Materials (NZCCM) Christchurch, New Zealand October 29-31, 2014 The New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Materials (NZCCM) annual conference offers an opportunity for members and non-members to present written papers, research-in progress reports, and presentations on practical experience relating the impact on and interaction between practical conservation, indigenous peoples and their collections. We welcome proposals from conservators, curators, historians, conservation scientists, collection managers, archaeologists, and others engaged in the conservation and preservation of heritage materials. Please submit an abstract of between 200-400 words for an orally presented paper. Presentations will be limited to 30 minutes (including questions) and any supporting slides or imagery must be in PowerPoint format.
