"Mending the Threads:  Conservation's Contribution to Cultural
    Revival"
New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Materials (NZCCM)
Christchurch, New Zealand
October 29-31, 2014

The New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Materials (NZCCM) annual
conference offers an opportunity for members and non-members to
present written papers, research-in progress reports, and
presentations on practical experience relating the impact on and
interaction between practical conservation, indigenous peoples and
their collections.

We welcome proposals from conservators, curators, historians,
conservation scientists, collection managers, archaeologists, and
others engaged in the conservation and preservation of heritage
materials.

Please submit an abstract of between 200-400 words for an orally
presented paper.  Presentations will be limited to 30 minutes
(including questions) and any supporting slides or imagery must be
in PowerPoint format.

    Day 1:  Registration and Papers

    Day 2:  Papers / AGM (members only)

    Day 3:  Weaving workshop/Day Tour(Coach tour of Earthquake hit
            central Christchurch)

Submissions are only accepted by email.  Your email should include:

Deadline: Abstracts must be received by June 10, 2014

Applicants will be informed of the decision by July 15, 2014

Please note the NZCCM will be unable to pay for any expenses
involved in the preparation and presentation of papers or cost of
accommodation or travel expenses.  However the fee to the conference
will be waived if the paper is accepted.
