Icon Ceramics and Glass Group Conference

16-17 May 2014

We are delighted to announce that the next CGG Conference will be
held in York, one of England's most beautiful and historic cities,
on 16-17 May 2014.

A variety of visits to local ceramics collections have been
organised, as well as a trip to a local conservation studio on
Friday 16 May 2014.  A full day of presentations and a student
poster session has been arranged on Saturday 17 May 2014 at the
King's Manor in York, once home to the abbots of St Mary's Abbey,
now part of York University.  Presentations include the latest
developments in stained glass conservation being used at York
Minister, as well as some fascinating ceramic tile projects recently
completed.  Finally on Friday evening, there will be a spectacular
Conference dinner, where the latest winner of the Nigel Williams
Prize will be announced.
