Objects Conservator Oakland Museum of CA The Oakland Museum of California (OMCA) is currently seeking Objects Conservator (Job 4.21) to support the Senior Conservator in the Collections and Information Access Center. The Objects Conservator is responsible for the treatment of objects in the collection, and advising on proper environmental conditions for their protection in storage, on exhibition, or on loan. Incumbent performs skilled conservation work on collections within their specialization including research, examination, documentation, treatment, and preventative maintenance. Experience in the areas of Outdoor Sculpture and/or Natural Science collections is desirable.
