Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship in Objects Conservation Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, MA The Worcester Art Museum is offering an advanced fellowship in objects conservation with a strong emphasis on arms and armor beginning September 2014. The appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal for two additional years. The successful candidate will participate in all departmental activities including examinations, treatments, analyses, exhibitions and loans, and will interact as a staff member with other Museum departments. Technical research opportunities exist, and the fellow will be encouraged to engage in a project that results in a professional presentation or publication. Applicants should be graduates of a recognized training program and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Salary is competitive with other institutions and includes generous professional development, travel and equipment allowances. Museum benefits include health insurance and paid vacation.
