AICCM Book, Paper and Photographic Materials Symposium

8th AICCM Book, Paper and Photographic Materials Symposium

Book, paper and photograph conservation today can encompass a broad
range of associated materials including film, sound and new media.
The AICCM Book and Paper Special Interest Group, PHOTON and the
Conservation Framing Special Interest Group invite you to attend the
symposium.  Guest speakers include:

    Bruce Ford [Conservation Scientist, NMA and Art and Archival]
    will demonstrate the use of the Microfade tester and present a
    paper on its use for book, paper and photographic materials.

    Dr Bruce Kaiser [Chief Scientist, Bruker AXS] will be presenting
    a paper and conducting workshops on pXRF of photographs.

    Dr Pip Laurenson [Head of Collection Care Research, TATE] will
    be presenting a paper on digital preservation within a fine art
    context.
