Workshop "Minimal Intervention on Limp Vellum Archival Bindings: Practical ideas for the preservation of limp vellum bindings: Functional sewn-on protective paper covers" London Metropolitan Archives, London 12-13 June 2014 Lecturer: Lara Speroni, private conservator Language: English Participants: Maximum 12 people Course fee: UKP 200 Course Content: Two-day workshop will look at the execution and adaptation of sewn-on book covers that are quick and simple to make but effective and non-intrusive. The sewing structures and covers designs can be adopted as a one-off conservation intervention or as a part of a large collection's preservation plan.
