Traineeship in Paper Conservation National Museum Cardiff 5 month contract 37 hours per week Grade B UKP14,586.55 - UKP17,411.41 per annum (pro rata) We are currently looking for a motivated individual with knowledge of current paper conservation standards who wants to develop their experience and skills through working in a busy studio environment on a range of works on paper. The traineeship will involve investigating the condition of 66 lithographic prints from the 1917 portfolio The Great War: Britain's Efforts and Ideals. You will work with the Principal Conservator Paper on the treatment and mounting of the Efforts and Ideals prints ready for a major exhibition commemorating the outbreak of the First World War. You will have a relevant degree and a commitment to personal development and a career in paper conservation.
