Third-Year Internship Conservation Center Los Angeles County Museum of Art The Conservation Center at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art is seeking applications for third-year student internships in the textile, paintings and objects conservation laboratories. The internships are unpaid and may vary in length from 6 to 12 months. The internships will focus on the study, examination and treatment of works of art in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Students taking part in the internship program will also participate in the museum's exhibition program. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to attend informal lectures, symposia, and workshops and visit nearby cultural institutions. The deadline for applications is March 3, 2014. Successful candidates will be notified by March 14, 2014. Internship positions will be available beginning fall 2014. Eligibility: Candidates must be enrolled in a recognized conservation training program, with the appropriate specializations.
