Survey for paper conservators: Natural latex sponges

I am studying conservation / restoration at the Bern University of
Applied Sciences (Switzerland) with specialisation in graphic, books
and photographic objects. My Master-thesis deals with the impact of
vulcanized natural latex sponges (known as wallmaster or smoke-off
sponge) on paper surfaces.

The subject of vulcanized natural latex sponges arose because of the
results Sandra Schorbach had gained in her Diploma-thesis (Sandra
Schorbach 2007, Cleaning sponges used for conservation (german)).
She discovered a decrease of the wettability and water absorption of
stucco samples treated with the latex sponge. My goal is to analyse
if these alterations also occur on paper after using these sponges.

Apart from the analysis of differently treatet papers I would like
to document the usage of the vulcanized natural latex sponge in the
paper conservation practice.Therefore I would like to ask all paper
conservators to take the time (10 minutes) to fill out the survey:
