"Back to the Roots: Workshop on the Preparation of Historical Lake Pigments" CHARISMA (Cultural Heritage Advanced Research Infrastructures: Synergy for a Multidisciplinary Approach to Conservation/Restoration) Doerner Institut Bayerische Staatsgemaldesammlungen Munchen,Germany Mar 23-25, 2011 First announcement: The workshop is aimed to promote a better understanding of the nature, preparation and use of historical lake pigments, which were relevant for painting and polychromy.
