Introduction to Conservation Environments

This is a one-day survey of issues in the assessment, improvement,
management and operation of preservation environments. The workshop
begins with how to set environmental goals, moving to a survey of
monitoring techniques, then general features of a good environment,
from architecture to HVAC, fire protection and lighting. Example
interim and low-cost approaches are described, along with typical
project problems, and general project planning.
