Subject: Call for presenters--AIC Book and Paper Group, LCCDG
LCCDG 2011 call for presenters: The Library Collections Conservation Discussion Group (LCCDG) of the Book and Paper Group is pleased to announce the 2011 session topic: ETHOS, LOGOS, PATHOS: ethical principles and critical thinking in conservation. In keeping with the Annual Meeting Theme, the co-chairs are seeking individuals to present on what influences their treatment decisions: are there economic factors, are the requests use or exhibit driven, are you considering sustainability/green practices, and/or are the institutional priorities changing, and what were the results or outcome of those decisions. The co-chairs are particularly interested in treatment oriented presentations. Speakers are asked to prepare a short ten to fifteen minute presentation, and provide a one-page handout for reference, web-posting and publishing. If you are interested in participating please contact the co-chairs at the email addresses below with a short description of your presentation by February 1, 2011. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you at the 2011 LCCDG session in Pittsburgh.
