Registration is now open for the 2010-2011 Online Meeting Series for
Art Conservators.

This year's monthly sessions build on two prior seasons of
successful online meetings about business and business practices
sponsored by the Conservators in Private Practice Specialty Group of
the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic
Works.

The 2010-2011 meetings are open to all members of the
conservation/preservation community. Participation is offered on a
first-come first-served basis.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month starting at
12:30pm US Eastern Time.

The first meeting will be Wednesday 15 September. The topic will be
"Transitions: Out of the museum and into private practice" with
Guest Expert Jim Swope, of James Swope Fine Arts Conservation, Inc.

Scheduled topics include:

Legal and ethical issues in conservation
A discussion of the AIC 2009 salary survey
Plus sessions on appraisal, marketing a practice, and more.
