Call for papers--AICCM Textile Special Interest Group Symposium

The Textile SIG is pleased to announce that the fourth AICCM Textile
Special Interest Group Symposium is to be held at the National
Gallery of Australia, Canberra in mid March 2011. The theme of the
conference is 'On The Body' with a focus session on costumes from
the Ballets Russes to tie in with the NGA's exhibition Ballets
Russes: The Art of Costume. The organizing committee welcomes
abstracts (300 word max) for papers and posters from conservators
who deal with items that are worn on or interact with the human
form. Possible subject matter may include clothing, jewellery,
accessories and adornments. We are interested in receiving papers
from all disciplines of conservation as well as allied fields.
