Subject: Work experience opportunity at Chedworth Roman Villa
The National Trust are presently doing some essential preparation works in advance of erecting new shelter buildings over the fourth century Roman Villa at Chedworth, Gloucestershire. Previously re-buried mosaics are being excavated again, and during the months of August - September, 2010 their condition will be recorded and essential conservation and consolidation treatments carried out. The work is being done by specialist conservator Chris Cleere, assisted by a team of students.
