Icon's membership embraces the wider conservation community in the
UK incorporating not only professional conservators but all others
who share a commitment to improving understanding of and access to
cultural heritage. Icon is committed to promoting the UK public's
understanding of and access to all the diverse elements of our
cultural heritage. The position would suit someone with strong
financial, business planning, leadership and general management
skills.  Icon aims to advance knowledge and education in
conservation and achieve the long term preservation of our cultural
heritage; it does this by providing guidance, advocacy, training and
education opportunities and by uniting the conservation profession
and the wider heritage community. The CEO will lead Icon through the
major changes anticipated within the sector.
