Possibly you could try using Beva film. Wet up the tiny piece with a
50/50 toluene/benzine solvent mixture and place in position and
somehow keep the fragments in pressure contact until the solvent has
evaporated completely. At Orrin Riley Fine Art Ltd. (1992?) we
attached T shaped hinges to sheets of wax (works of art) in this way
so they could be float framed.
