Concerning the May 19, 2010. post on Epotek 301 and shelf life, I'd
like to mention that we have had a supply of this epoxy formulation
in our lab for something in the order of 5-10 years, and it performs
exactly as it did when new. We have found generally that epoxies
have very long shelf lives, and this is not an item of concern here.
Normally we use up our supplies before there is any sign of
degradation.

We do keep all supplies at moderate temperatures--between 50 deg. F.
and 75 deg. F.--, and in a dark cabinet, but take no extraordinary
steps to prolong their lives.

Also worth noting, Epotek in our opinion requires weighing its
components with an accurate digital scale to hundredths of a gram,
and we also weigh all other epoxy formulations to get absolutely
consistent results.
