Content:

    Introduction to the history of the manufacture processes

    Introduction to various treatment techniques

        Every participant gets an object on which he/she will
        practice the following treatments removal of tapes, water
        and pressure sensitive mending of tears with different
        adhesives

        Mending losses with tracing paper

        Flattening, demonstration of Hard-Soft-Sandwich

        Dyeing of mending paper

        Lining with Japanese paper and starch paste

        Paper pulp application

The main focus of the seminar is to gain an understanding of the
several treatment techniques through hands-on working on originals
and dummies.
