Workshop on mountmaking

The Campbell Center <URL:http://www.campbellcenter.org> still has
space available for its upcoming workshop entitled "Design and
Construction of Mounts For Exhibits," June  2-5-2010.  This is a
very intensive, hands-on, 4-day course, and  includes everything
from learning the theory of design and fabrication of mounts to
actual cutting, bending and gluing of acrylics, and brazing metals.
The course is being taught by Pam Gaible, Mount Shop Supervisor at
the Field Museum of Chicago, and Earl Lock, a well-known independent
exhibits fabricator.

Cost for tuition, course materials, lodging and most meals is
$1055.00.  NEH scholarships of $300 are still available for
qualifying participants.
