Subject: Grants for IIC Congress
IIC is delighted to announce the availability of a wide range of financial support packages to assist attendance at the eagerly awaited IIC 2010 Congress in Istanbul in September this year. As in previous years, IIC is pleased to be working with the Getty Foundation and be able to offer a limited number of grants to enable practising conservators from developing countries to attend the Congress. IIC also offers support itself via its own Brommelle Memorial Fund for students who are members of IIC. New to the 2010 Congress are two new financial support options, offered by the Gabo Trust and the Clothworkers' Foundation. The Gabo Trust support is aimed at conservators working in sculpture conservation and that by the Clothworkers' Foundation is for conservators based in the United Kingdom. Applications for these have time deadlines, so we encourage early application for support.
