I am assuming that these are small lacertids or geckos.  I cannot
perceive how these lizards can be considered as a serious threat  to
collections as they would eat live prey items only.  Their claws
(lacertidae) however could do some surface damage, excrement is
semi-dry but egg  staining could be an issue. Try to find the
entrance points where the lizards can gain access.  There may be a
small area of damaged masonry.  Some species of  lizard also like to
hide behind curtains during daylight hours.  Sticky traps or sticky
band traps can be useful to contain them.
