Salary: UKP24,231 - UKP30,352 per annum pro-rata

The National Galleries of Scotland is seeking to recruit a Paper
Conservator to join our Conservation Department.  This is an ideal
opportunity for a dynamic individual to conserve and preserve the
works of art on paper held in the National Galleries' collection,
and to support two magnificent projects, ARTIST ROOMS and Portrait
of the Nation.

With a MA degree in conservation of works of art on paper or
relevant work experience, you will have experience in practical
conservation treatments and the ability to plan and prioritise work
independently when required.  A flexible approach and an ability to
work well under pressure are also essential.

Working hours and pattern to be agreed between the successful
candidate and NGS.  Both part-time and full-time working patterns
within normal office hours to be considered, dependant on mutual
agreement between the successful candidate and NGS.  For further
