Subject: Call for presenters--Preservation Week webinars
ALCTS Continuing Education is looking for presenters to offer 60 minute webinars during Preservation Week, May 9-15, 2010. These would be aimed at the general public, and the ALCTS office has agreed that these particular webinars would be free of charge. These programs could be shared with your community as part of your Preservation Week festivities. We realize that this is short notice, but are hoping that some of you out there have content you may have used in your own situations for public audiences that could be repurposed. ALCTS-CE can provide technical assistance and help with content development and presentation. If you are interested, please fill out an online webinar proposal form under the Suggest a Topic heading on the following web page. There are also instructions there for How to Develop a Webinar. <URL:http://www.ala.org/ ala/mgrps/divs/alcts/confevents/upcoming/webinar/index.cfm> **** Moderator's comments: The above URL has been wrapped for email. There should be no newline. Please respond by April 5, 2010 so that we have time to work with you on your ideas. Feel free to share this opportunity with others colleagues you think might be interested.
