The Western and Northern Service Centre of the Parks Canada Agency
is a network of professional and technical expertise established to
support National Parks, National Historic Sites and National Marine
Conservation Areas in Western and Northern Canada in the protection
and presentation of cultural and natural resources.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Conservator II conducts
conservation treatments for a range of historic and archaeological
artifacts from national historic sites and parks in Western and
Northern Canada. Fieldwork involves site visits to assess artifact
and environmental conditions as well as performing treatments
in-situ. The Conservator II develops and delivers basic conservation
training to site staff, provides advice, and writes technical
reports and papers.
