Subject: Call for papers--ICOM-CC Photographic Materials Working Group
The ICOM-CC Photographic Materials Working Group (PMWG) is inviting contributions for the ICOM-CC Triennial 16th Conference, in Lisbon in September 19-23, 2011. The Triennial Conference will be an opportunity to share methods, studies and strategies that value individual cultural identities through heritage conservation. We are interested in papers that examine interdisciplinary collaborations with other disciplines, heritage professional, international communities, and/or practices and methodologies. For further information regarding the theme please visit <URL:http://www.icom-cc2011.org/conference.aspx> We encourage all papers relating to the aims of the ICOM-CC Photographic Materials Working Group, the field of photographs conservation, and/or the theme of the triennial conference. The theme for the 2011 conference is; Cultural Heritage/Cultural Identity: The Role of Conservation. Contributions to the ICOM-CC triennial conference is a 2-step process consisting of; 1. A call for abstracts of prospective papers and posters (Due April 16, 2010) 2. Followed by an invitation to submit full papers and short poster abstracts for the ICOM-CC Triennial publication (Due November 12, 2010) Abstracts for papers and posters should be submitted via the conference website <URL:http://www.icom-cc2011.org> beginning March 15, 2010. Abstracts must not exceed 1000 words in total. The deadline for papers and posters is April 16, 2010.
